Job Description
Responsible for managing and directing the Credit Union's Core and Applications Support and Software Development Department. Plans for and manages hardware and software budgets related to assigned departments. Directs the efforts of the Core and Applications Support and Software Development departments in installing, modifying, enhancing, and customizing the software applications and core system software utilized by FirstLight Federal Credit Union. Ensures Change Management Process is continuously reviewed for process improvements in implementing changes efficiently and promptly while maintaining quality in changes in conjunction with other members of management team, the Enterprise Applications Director is responsible for planning and ensuring business continuity and disaster recovery meet the needs and expectations of the organization. Ensures the security of the Credit Union application data and account information. Coordinates with management to establish and implement operating system goals and objectives. Trains, assigns, and supervises a team responsible for overseeing the management and maintenance of all member facing applications, back-office processing applications, in-house developed software applications and the core software/hardware processing system. Thisindividual supervises and appraises the activities of subordinates and ensures that all functions are delivered in a professional manner and all members are well served. Job Qualifications
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or a bachelor's degree in an unrelated field combined with education, training, and experience related to computer and information systems. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Six (6) years of experience managing information technology teams within the financial services industry. Four (4) years of intermediate experience operating a computer mainframe environment including daily operations, backups, restores hardware, and software upgrades. Six (6) years' experience systems analysis and data manipulation, Two (2) years of SQL language. Two (2) years of Crystal reports or similar reporting tool. |
