Apply now Job Summary A Research Associate position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Ryan Petrie in the Department of Biology. Research in the Petrie lab focuses on understanding the mechanisms of cell migration. We investigate how cells move and respond to their three-dimensional environments. Our team uses cutting-edge techniques such as live-cell imaging and single-cell analysis to study cells migrating in 3D physiologically relevant matrices. The successful applicant will engage in exciting research. The position will consist of both research and administrative work. Duties will include contributing to general lab management and upkeep, making progress on an assigned research project, oversight of undergraduate researchers, and technical assistance with experiments. Applicants should have a strong background in biology and hold a terminal degree. This is a 1-year, grant-funded position, with possibility to renew the contract. Essential Functions
