Description
We are hiring a Global Digital Asset Manager to oversee the organization, governance, and accessibility of the company's internal digital content. This role is responsible for leading digital asset management (DAM) operations within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including taxonomy development, metadata strategy, indexing, cataloging, archiving, and content lifecycle management. Combining expertise in digital asset systems with strong information management skills, this position ensures that digital assets are efficiently structured, searchable, and aligned with business needs across global teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding ofdigital asset management(DAM) systems, includingmetadataorganization and schema development.
  • Hands-on experience with DAM platforms.
  • Proficient in front-end data administration, file conversion,metadatamanipulation, and experience with API integration.
  • Familiarity with digital rights management and legal/operational considerations for creative assets.
  • Knowledge ofmetadatastandards and best practices forasset management.
  • Experience documenting technical requirements.
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Experience with Adobe Assets and/or Content Hub
  • Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) degree with a specialization indigital curation,archives, or information technology
  • DAM Certification
  • 2+ years' of experience working with a global enterprise database, preferably Adobe Experience Manager Assets
What you will be doing:
  • Serve as the primary steward of the Steelcase Digital Asset Management Platform and Content Hub, managing the platform(s) roadmap and governance.
  • Maintenance of assetmetadatamodels enforcing industry standards and Steelcase-specific requirements to ensure that digital assets are properly described, searchable, and usable.
  • Develop and maintain taxonomies to organize and structure digital assets.
  • Establishing rules and guidelines for assigning metadata efficiently and optimizing other related processes.
  • Creation and maintenance of content specification.
  • Quality control, library auditing and cleansing to adhere to established governance standards.
  • Manage and monitor the access and use of digital assets, ensuring brand consistency, compliance, and copyrights.
  • Conduct regular analysis and reporting on metrics that pertain to demographics of access, usage, and lifecycle of digital assets, including statistics on audience engagement.
  • Generate appropriatetaxonomy/metadatareports to share with business content owners and for regular review and updates.
  • Supportworkflowoversight and ad hoc change implementation to ensure useful, relevant workflows across the system.
  • Provide training and ongoing support on best practices to ensure all content imported meets business goals and objectives:Working with stakeholders, including content creators, marketers, and IT teams, to educate and support the use of digital assets.
