Overview
Hudson Valley Credit Union is currently recruiting for the position of Supervisor Deposit Operations. Primary Function: responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day to day activities of an operational team. Ensure operational business needs are achieved and regulatory requirements are met. Monitor operational business needs to adhere with service level agreements (SLA) and regulatory requirements. Adhere to budget and makes recommendations for improvement. Lead daily operational workflow, reports on adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs), and provides feedback to employees about work completion to improve performance.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for tracking and evaluating key performance indicators (KPIs), to support employee development and implements solutions to enhance efficiency for Deposit Operations that includes tasks such as, deposit account servicing, ATM, bank by mail and remote transaction processing, record retention and reporting.
- Allocate personnel, equipment and other resources effectively to support operational needs such as, task distribution, scheduling, etc.
- Analyze operational workflows, identifies opportunities for improvements, makes recommendations and executes based on authority or approved changes for optimization.
- Address operational problems promptly and effectively to minimize disruptions and maintain productivity and a positive member experience.
- Evaluate production to track and trend outputs to communicate effectively with internal business partners to ensure attainment of goals and objectives.
- Maintain superior knowledge of the variety of products, guidelines and services offered and attend meetings and training programs as required by the Credit Union in order to maintain this level of experience and knowledge.
- Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Participate in all required and recommended training and development including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrate attained knowledge. Participate on Credit Union teams, projects and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

- Responsible for regular and predictable attendance including punctuality.
Qualifications
- High school, General Education Development (GED) or state authorized high school equivalent required
- Associate's Degree preferred
- NYS Notary Public license achieved within 12 months of obtaining position required
- Minimum 1 year's experience in Leadership or Supervisory experience, preferably in a financial institution required
- Minimum 1 year's work history in a Credit Union or financial institution required
- Minimum 1 year's knowledge of financial industry rules and regulations relating to deposit accounts preferred
