The Workday HRIS Analyst leverages both broad functional knowledge and a high level of technical aptitude to consult, recommend, develop, implement, and improve Workday's functionality and performance. This individual must have proven experience in working closely with end-users, designing and configuring solutions that support business goals, possess solid analytical skills, and be able to effectively communicate with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Your role.

  • Serve as a Workday HRIS consultant supporting multiple modules, including Recruiting, Performance, Learning, and others as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with other HRIS team members who may lead specific modules or initiatives, contributing to shared goals and supporting cross-functional efforts.
  • Act as a consultative partner to HR functional teams, providing guidance on system capabilities and best practices.
  • Design, configure, and maintain Workday business processes and related components across various modules.
  • Maintain master data values in Workday (e.g., rating scales, job requisition templates, training locations, etc.)
  • Partner with the HR centralized operations team to monitor and support ongoing process execution, ensuring alignment with business needs and operational efficiency.
  • Test, validate, and implement system changes and enhancements to ensure optimal functionality and user experience.
  • Meet expected business performance goals by providing exceptional customer service
  • Collaborate with Workday project managers, team members, and stakeholders to support initiatives as appropriate
  • Develop and deliver enduser training and documentation to enhance understanding of Workday processes and policies.

Your qualifications.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • 3-5 years' experience in Human Resources required
  • Two or more years' experience in system administration/support of Workday, including implementation, maintenance, upgrades, testing, front and back-end processing, and reporting required
  • Experience with Workday reporting, including ability to navigate and utilize Workday's reporting features to support analysis and operational needs is preferred.
  • Workday Recruiting, Performance and/or Learning experience or training preferred
  • Understanding of HR operations and experience in employee data management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with HR and IT clients.
  • Ability to accurately collect information to understand and assess the end user needs and situation.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and provide timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects.
  • Ability to utilize common business software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

We are pleased to offer eligible staff a robust benefits package. Eligibility and contribution requirements for some of these benefits vary based on the number of hours staff work per week. Highlights include health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance. These standard offerings are effective on the first of the month following your start date. In addition to this, eligible staff are able to take advantage of our Flexible Time Off and various pre-determined holidays as well as a 401(k) plan, flexible benefits plans, business-related travel expense, lodging and meal reimbursement for business-related use. A Pension plan is also available for eligible administrative and paraprofessional staff. A discretionary bonus plan is available for eligible staff. Plante Moran also offers Interns and Contractors the option to elect health insurance under our contingent staff medical plan as of the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment in addition to limited paid time sick time. Seasonal staff are not eligible for benefits.

Compensation is commensurate with technical skills and experience is provided in accordance with applicable state requirement. Compensation information posted is based on a position being located in the state of CO or IL. Please review theposition location for theapplicable geographic location.
