We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer with strong Pega expertise to support and enhance production systems for Prior Authorization platforms. The role involves leading support efforts, coordinating with QA and stakeholders, and ensuring system stability and performance. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in Pega and contribute to modernization and automation initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Production support for Priority 1 Critical business applications like PAS & PANDA ensuring uptime, performance, and SLA adherence through Incident management and root cause analysis for P1/P2 issues, with a focus on proactive detection and resolution
  • Implementation of AI/ML-based monitoring and alerting systems to reduce incident influx and improve triaging speed
  • Support CI/CD and DevOps initiatives and contribute to automation and modernization efforts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Dev, Support, and Infrastructure to ensure seamless delivery and support
  • Contribute to the design and development of automation scripts and tools to enhance system reliability and reduce manual toil
  • Foster a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4+ years in production support
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Pega with CSA and CSSA certifications
  • Experience in application debugging, troubleshooting, and analyzing logs & alerts using tools like Splunk, App Insights, and Dynatrace
  • Solid understanding of Oracle database and ability to write SQL queries
  • Experience with GenAI tools (e.g., CoPilot, Splunk MLTK) & understanding of AI/ML concepts and experience applying them to operational use cases (e.g., anomaly detection, predictive alerts)
  • Working knowledge on Kubernetes, cloud deployments, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Flexible to work off hours including weekends in case of critical business issues (e.g., Priority 1 or 2 incidents)



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Working knowledge on Azure
  • Experience in Java/React
  • Understanding of US healthcare, specifically Prior Auth/claims domain
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $89,900 to $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
