Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Business Analyst with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Ensure changes to the application are compliant with client standards and policies Assist users and development team with application testing and troubleshooting, and may help configure test solutions to validate functional and system needs Identify, document and troubleshoot application related problems Document process, procedures and workflows associated with applications Lead or participate in continuous improvement efforts Build expertise in creating, analyzing, and improving processes Create, maintain and present training materials for end-users Provide support to Testing to clarify requirements, to ensure that test plans and scripts satisfy the requirements and determine whether a defect is a new requirement, or truly a defect Requirements: Excellent analytical skills and at least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, working closely with business partners to elicit requirements, document process flows, identify risks and mitigation and participate in definition of strategies for the technical solution Experience documenting detailed functional and technical requirements for business requirements in JIRA as any Issue Type Ability to communicate and work with developers to ensure that acceptance criteria for the user stories are understood and applied Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and ability to facilitate discussions, conduct presentations and deliver technical requirements Self-motivated and requires minimal supervision Good problem solving and conflict resolution skills Ability to analyze existing capabilities and identify gaps and opportunities Knowledge of project managements principles, practices, techniques and tools (Waterfall Agile) Technology project background Demonstrates initiative, is conscientious and provides complete follow-through on areas of responsibility Strong team player with superior time management skills Desired skills: Working knowledge of agile tools such as JIRA/Confluence and Jira align Pay range: $42.09 - $50.09 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
