About the Team:

This job is on a team working on "Rave Imaging". Rave Imaging provides cloud-based, secure management for medical imaging tasks in an innovative and intuitive system. This role will assist with modernization and improvement of that platform. As a Senior Applications Engineer, you will report to the Manager of Engineering.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure and help customers on Medidata software products to translate customer needs and meet customer requirements
  • Follow or educate on best practices for implementing Medidata's software
  • Author, adapt, or agree on specifications based on client requirements. This can include functional test cases for use in developing solutions in Medidata's suite of products and in custom integrations
  • Support less experienced team members with client engagements, being accountable for quality of delivery
  • Support departments with issue resolution
  • Work to Project Management timelines and budgets, ensuring completion of deliverables within the agreed scope of work
  • Support customers during enablement or implementation of our software by answering questions, resolving configuration or UAT issues, and providing guidance on software usage
  • Follow industry data collection and handling standards to ensure consistency and facilitate downstream processing (e.g., QC testing)
  • Communicate status reports to partners on both client and internal projects
  • Participate in internal programs, e.g., process improvement, product improvement, and identifying best practices
  • Oversee multiple customer-facing projects or engagements
  • Mentor/Train AICs or new employees

Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 6 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience
  • Java programming language experience
  • Experience in one product or solution, or, relevant experience in a group of products/solutions

The salary range posted below refers only to positions that will be physically based in New York City Metro Area. As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on many factors including function, level, candidate experience, and geographic location. Pay ranges for candidates in locations other than New York City Metro Area, may differ based on the local market data in that region.

The salary range for positions that will be physically based in the NYC Metro Area is $114,750-$153,000.

The salary range for positions that will be physically based in Texas or Ohio is $101,250-$135,000.

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents, and many of Medidata's non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses.
