Overview
Provides lending/credit management analytics. Collects, reports, and manages data and analytics. Prepares business financial models, develops strategic planning scenarios, and other relevant financial information to support business decisions.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
Gathers business data through various channels including internal systems, finance and the lending/credit management team, and prepares timely reports and summaries on key department operational metrics to support executive decision- making and strategy.
- Designs, prepares, and presents dashboards on the credit portfolio and lending business using knowledge of credit lending markets and systems to identify and collect relevant statistics. May involve adding various metrics and data to the systems to ensure that the appropriate statistics are easily accessible for reporting.
- Supports various lending and credit analytical projects on an ad hoc basis, e.g., legal, financial budget/expense analysis and control, budget and operational analysis, financial forecasts, etc.
- Prepares and reviews monthly reports. Shares relevant measures, tracks performance against targets, and identifies opportunities and/or gaps. May make recommendations to mitigate present or future expenses/risks.
- Partners with the finance team to gather and prepare analysis and data for investor presentations, budgets, and other financial reporting needs. Provides early and ongoing identification of financial issues and recommend controls around performance. Meets with internal partners to discuss assumptions and concerns with the data particularly the performance projections and/or best- and worst-case modeling of information for the reports.
- Presents reports and findings to management. Executive reports may include an analysis of pricing, performance of the business, and other risk, credit, and cost metrics.
- Assumes full ownership of the executive Fleet Leasing reporting responsibilities, including strategic oversight and ongoing optimization of the department's Leasing Dashboard, ensuring accuracy, continuity, and enhanced visibility into key portfolio metrics.
- Acts as a primary stakeholder and reporting lead for the commercial fleet leasing core software upgrade initiative, driving requirements gathering, cross-functional collaboration, and end-user training. Recognized as the subject matter expert (SME) for the new report builder tool, enabling scalable, and efficient reporting solutions across the organization.
- Drives the evolution and automation of Small Business Lending (SBL) reporting processes through data standardization, workflow optimization, and the strategic migration of reporting functions into Power BI, significantly enhancing real-time insights and decision-making capabilities.
- Serves as the Technology SME for the Commercial Lending Group, leading initiatives related to reporting innovation, systems integration, and process automation while providing strategic support and technical guidance to cross-departmental teams.

Qualifications
Education/Experience Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- 2-4 years of financial analysis, credit/lending analytics, preferably within the banking, leasing, or financial services industry.
Preferred Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of financial analysis and reporting.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent analytical skills including the ability to build financial models.
- A team player able to work effectively in a team fostered, multi-tasking environment.
- Proficient in Power BI and Microsoft Office suite, e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.
- No travel required.
