Position Summary This position exists to support the daily operations of the Center for Individualized Learning (CIL) at MSU Denver and to coach potential and current IDP students. The Outreach and Program Specialist plays a crucial role in managing advising appointment schedules, coordinating meetings, daily communications, and managing outreach for both the Individualized Degree Program (IDP) and Meritus Scholars. The role involves interacting with faculty, staff, and students, providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be proficient in office software and have a keen attention to detail. The Administration and Outreach Assistant will contribute to a positive and efficient work environment. The successful candidate will be a proactive problem solver with a strong work ethic. Qualified candidates are expected to work with and for others. They build and maintain relationships as they work closely, accurately, and independently, within broadly defined guidelines. They should be an effective communicator, someone who is aware of and responsive to the needs and concerns of IDP students, Meritus Scholars participants, CIL staff and student staff. Salary for Announcement Under Colorado law, MSU Denver is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role and should not offer a salary outside of the range posted in this job announcement. This range takes into account a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, analysis of internal equity, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience. The salary range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is $41,200 - $51,500.The full salary range is $41,200- $61,800. This position is paid monthly and is eligible for MSU Denver benefits. Schedule Information
