ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Construction Administrator will provide general support to internal and external clients on all new and existing construction loans. This will include, but not limited to, efficiently reviewing, monitoring, and processing construction budgets, draw requests, lien waivers, change order requests, and processing fees utilizing the bank's construction platform. This role will work directly with the bank's third-party construction vendors to order and review construction site inspections, title endorsements, and plan & cost reviews, as well as maintain construction files and supporting information within the bank's documentation storage software.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:



  • Review and approve construction loan documentation prior to closing to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Review sources and uses of funds and construction budget to ensure balanced and interest reserves are established.
  • Order and review title work, date down endorsements and/or title searches, lien waivers, site inspections from third party vendors of the bank.
  • Conduct review of borrower requested construction draw(s) in a timely manner to ensure compliance with budget and funding remains in-balance.
  • Review and recommend approval for requested change orders. Upon approval, complete budget maintenance as necessary.
  • Process and track construction completion, draws and payments, invoices, and initiate wire requests as necessary.
  • Update loan coding upon completion of construction projects.


WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:



  • Business degree in business, accounting, or finance preferred; or equivalent experience necessary.
  • 3-5 years of prior administration experience.
  • MS Office suite and Outlook experience.
  • Strong understanding of construction industry, specifically construction lending preferable.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with others orally and in writing utilizing English.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Disciplined organization and strong time managing skills.
  • Self-started with ability to work independently with minimal day-to-day supervision.
  • Positive attitude and team player.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work is typically performed in an office setting. The employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time. The employee is occasionally required to move about the office utilizing proper ergonomic safeguards when doing so. Additionally, the employee must occasionally lift or move supplies and materials up to 20 pounds.

BASE PAY RANGE:

$60,000 - $80,000 per year
