Job Title: Electrical Engineering Professional Associate

Duration: 7 Months

Location: Greenville, SC (Hybrid)

Shift Timings:
08:00 AM - 04:30 PM (Mon - Fri)

Overview:

As an Electrical Engineer in our Advanced Manufacturing group, you'll contribute to projects that enable the heart of our clients' successful data center facilities, engineering, design, and construction. In this role, you will have the chance to work on projects, including the engineering and design of data centers and other mission-critical facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide design work and contribute to team technical collaboration
  • Perform quality reviews of design packages.
  • Assist directly with other portions of the design process.
  • Interact directly with the client, owner, and contractors to assist with construction on site.
  • Work closely with the broader multi-discipline team in a fast-paced, dynamic, collaborative environment to establish design requirements and produce construction documents.
  • Perform engineering and design for data center facility power distribution systems, UPS, emergency systems, grounding, lighting, and low-voltage communications systems in complex industrial facilities.
  • Design may also include retrofitting existing building systems to accommodate our clients' continually evolving requirements.
  • Manage quality, scope, budget, and schedule as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience in engineering design of medium- and low-voltage distribution systems, building electrical systems, and campus-style power distribution, including conveyance.
  • Knowledge of and experience with industrial facility design.
  • Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software.
  • Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC).
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Forward-thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
  • Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base.
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Passionate about buildings and construction.
  • Experience in the design of large projects established on greenfield sites.
