Role Description: Reporting to the Head of Sales and Retail Execution - Meals & Beverages, the VP Sales - Grocery East is accountable for the delivery of top line revenue growth. Major areas of responsibility include: sales and customer strategy, sales execution, profitability of business and key strategic selling initiatives. Importantly, this leader is expected to be a sales executive team member, providing his/her input on relevant business matters. This role provides direction and aligns the team in meeting the objectives set by the over-arching strategic customer plan. Responsibilities include defining and executing corporate sales strategies and sales initiatives with excellence to produce extraordinary results. Specific responsibilities include:
Develop and/or oversee the implementation of strategic plans for the Grocery Customers in the East (including Publix, Meijer, Wakefern, ADUSA and other regional customers) Ownership of the Operational and Strategic Joint Business Plan Responsible for developing the Annual Operating Plan for the assigned customers and ensuring fiscal responsibility and managing the P&L. Develop strong working relationships with the most senior / top leaders at the Customers Ensure that team members develop and execute strategic customer plans that will deliver the team's volume, profit and share growth goals for each category. Manage trade spend budget across the team. Maintain focus with regard to corporate strategies and financial responsibility. Implement and enforce Campbell policy; ensure customer compliance with defined contractual commitments. Compensation and Benefits: The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $244,500-$351,400
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
