Position Overview

The Senior Contingent Workforce Administrator will provide strategic and functional support to the Contingent Workforce Program while ensuring an elevated level of internal and external customer satisfaction and service. The Senior Contingent Workforce Administrator is responsible for facilitating centralized non-employee lifecycle operational processes to support Exact Sciences' Contingent Workforce program. This will include non-EE requisitions, Services-based Administration, new resource onboarding, interview scheduling, offboarding, requisition awards, appropriate contract set-up within the system (including cost allocations as needed), job descriptions, various compliance programs, and other processes as developed by the Contingent Workforce Program.

Essential Duties

include but not limited to the following:

  • Responsible for completing routine and non-routine tasks involved with the day-to-day operational work for the contingent workforce system.
  • Monitor the efficiencies and effectiveness of the Contingent Workforce program through key metrics and uses discovered data to recommend continuous improvement solutions to enhance the experience for all users of the contingent workforce system.
  • Contributes to the creation and implementation of any new philosophy or services within the Contingent Workforce program that may or may not include technology, integrations and change management plans.
  • Maintains training plans for users of the contingent workforce system.
  • Supports the management of daily supplier relationships and ongoing supplier development through the contingent workforce system consistent with the Category strategy.
  • Evaluate supplier performance using program metrics and feedback to provide recommendations to program leadership based on the evaluations.
  • Coach users as they process contingent workforce tasks, ensuring accurate data entry and transactions and the integrity of non-EE resource data.
  • Support escalated case management through independent problem solving and, when necessary, triage to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Represent the Contingent Workforce Program as a key project team member on company initiatives focused on the design, development, or modification of cross-functional processes or procedures.
  • Assignments will require critical thinking, leadership, judgment, initiative, and creativity. Expectations include troubleshooting by understanding the issues from various angles, developing requirements, performing data driven analysis to provide alternative solutions, and making recommendations for continuous improvement or resolving complex issues.
  • Maintain highly ethical approach in the protection of confidential data, acting with the utmost scrutiny, judgment and care.
  • Ensure awareness of and compliance with applicable regulations and laws.
  • Understand and articulate the level of impact and risk of the team's work to the organization.

  • Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 85% of a typical working day.
  • Ability and means to travel between Madison locations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience working with or supporting a contingent workforce function, recruitment team, and/or related operations processes.
  • 1+ years of demonstrated experience working on contingent workforce supported by a contingent workforce system.
  • Applies extensive knowledge of business concepts, procedures, practices, and a strong understanding of contingent workforce fundamentals as well as other related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and effectively connect with others.
  • Professional working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, and Power Point).
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, Human Resources preferred.
  • Experience with Coupa or other contingent workforce systems (e.g., Beeline or Fieldglass) .
  • Experience with other applicant tracking systems, such as Workday.
  • Continuous improvement experience (Lean Six Sigma).
  • Experience with the Scrum and/or agile Framework.

Salary Range:

$89,000.00 - $151,000.00

The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible.
