As a member of a PingOne product team you will develop capabilities that are critical to the authentication or authorization use cases of enterprises worldwide. You will work on both a modern microservices cloud architecture and the PingOne Gateways that extend our SaaS to the customer's premise, giving them flexibility and security of maintaining certain data within their enterprise. You will be joining a team with high expectations to maintain their track record of solving complex problems, anticipating issues, and continuously learning and improving.

You will:



  • Develop APIs and scalable microservices for a cloud-based multi-tenant platform
  • Analyze, clarify, and extend requirements with product management and architects
  • Break down stories and sequence tasks in an Agile environment
  • Develop automated tests in a continuous integration and deployment environment
  • After training, participate in on-call rotation supporting customer incidents after hours


You have:



  • 4+ years Java experience in commercial product development
  • Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and JSON
  • Experience with automated testing and continuous integration
  • Experience giving constructive code reviews with real insights and not just syntax
  • The work ethic, collaboration, and problem-solving skills that make you an indispensable team member


You have an advantage if:



  • You understand identity management concepts and security (e.g., LDAP, SCIM, OAuth, OIDC, JWT, certificate & key management, cryptography, etc.)
  • You build with enterprise scale, quality, and security in mind, and you can balance these effectively within business constraints
  • You have experience developing microservices or other distributed architectures with complex messaging and latency
  • You have experience with modern cloud-based systems (e.g. Kafka, Redis, Cassandra, Kubernetes, Docker containers, lambdas, etc.)


Salary Range: $110,000 - $133,000

In accordance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
