Inventory Control Clerk (2nd Shift)

Under general supervision, you, as Inventory Control Clerkon the 2nd shift, are responsible for the timely, safe, and accurate handling of materials, and the related transactions in GenMark's ERP system, in support of production, quality, R&D, and administrative functions.

Working shift: M-F, 2:00pm - 10:30pm

On-site work at 6221 El Camino Real, Carlsbad, CA 92009

• Staging materials for production work orders; this includes, but need not be limited to, pulling and staging materials, transporting materials between departments, transacting issued and returned materials in the computer system
• Transporting and store quarantined & released materials throughout the warehouse or other designated locations. You physically move material, including loading and unloading of the company vehicle
• Putting away released raw materials and manufactured products in the proper locations and temperatures, and ensuring immediate segregation of non-conforming materials into a quarantine location. Properly handle and store hazardous materials, and follow federal and state regulations regarding the transportation of hazardous and infectious substances
• Assisting with the daily cycle count program by verifying counts and reconciling discrepancies under the guidance of the Warehouse Lead worker. Accurately perform transactions using a computerized inventory system
• Reviewing Kanban levels in all buildings, replenish as needed, and notify appropriate parties when unable to replenish

• You have a High School Diploma
• You bring two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment as required. Experience in various warehousing procedures utilizing material handling equipment and/or FDA-regulated environment is highly preferred.
• You are capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
• You have a current, valid California driver's license, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record.

• Solid understanding of computerized inventory control system (ERP system). Computer skills with word processor and spreadsheets
• Strong math and problem-solving skills. Communication and time management.
• Familiar with BOMs, JIT, and FIFO concepts
• Ability to use material handling equipment such as pallet racks, hand trucks, and motorized lifts.

The expected salary range for this position based on Carslbad is 37,632
- 50,200.00 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
