About the Role:
As the Vice President of Revenue Operations for the Data Center vertical, you will be at the forefront of revolutionizing revenue strategies tailored specifically for the unique demands of this sector. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of how we engage with our customers, optimize our pricing structures, and empower our teams to drive growth and success. You will harness data-driven insights to refine our operational efficiencies and ensure that our strategic initiatives align with the overarching goals of Johnson Controls.
How you will do it:
Formulate and execute advanced revenue strategies that align with Johnson Controls' objectives for the Data Center vertical, focusing on sustainable growth and market penetration.
Standardize operational processes and ensure strategic alignment across Regional P&L leadership and Global Account Management teams.
Oversee the development and implementation of competitive pricing strategies that reflect market trends and provide continuity across customers and regions.
Lead sales operations to enhance pipeline management capability and forecasting accuracy, while monitoring performance against financial plans, growth targets, and strategic objectives.
Deploy sales & operations planning (S&OP) process to deliver integrated demand planning that empowers field leadership and factory teams with clear visibility, actionable insights, and alignment to strategic growth objectives.
Design and implement comprehensive enablement programs that equip sales and customer success teams with cutting-edge tools, insights, and training specific to the data center industry.
Foster cross-functional collaboration with marketing, product management, and finance to drive operational excellence and ensure that strategic initiatives are effectively executed.
Partner with Commercial Excellence teams to develop and maintain executive dashboards that track key revenue operations goals, including pipeline velocity, conversion rates, and customer retention.
Analyze and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) that inform revenue generation strategies, providing actionable insights to executive leadership for data-driven decision-making.
Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction, sales productivity, and operational efficiency within the Data Center vertical.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and best practices to maintain the integrity of our operations and customer trust.
What we look for:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Minimum of 10 years' experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or related fields, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
Demonstrated ability to leverage data analytics and insights to inform strategic decisions and drive revenue growth.
Expertise in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and business intelligence tools, with a strong technical acumen.
Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of building and leading high-performance teams.
Ability to navigate and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while effectively managing multiple projects and priorities.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $192,900 - $265,200. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
