Job Summary Provides technology support to students, staff, and faculty. Technology support is in person, over the phone, chat, Zoom, and email. Assists in creating new user accounts, modifying user accounts, and deleting accounts. Provides specialized technical support for more complex issues involving equipment, networks, systems, and telecommunications Essential Functions 60% - Provides specialized support for students, staff, and faculty by responding to inquiries via phone, online chat, in person, emails, and helpdesk tickets 25% - Assists users with hardware and specialized software applications; provides remote desktop assistance as needed 15% - Creates user documentation and updates procedures; creates, modifies, and deletes accounts Minimum Qualifications A. Experience in technical support or customer service environment. B. Experience with Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft desktop applications C. Experience working with different chat software Special Working Conditions May be required to sit for a prolonged period of time; viewing a computer monitor. May be required to lift or carry up to 25lbs.
