Position Summary

The primary responsibility of this position is to supervise the Inside Sales Team and together with the team work with customer's engineering, procurement, project management, and maintenance personnel to understand their requirements and specify correct products or services in appropriate applications. Then provide price and delivery quotations for these products or services.


Duties And Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL:

  • Work with customers to understand their requirements and specify correct products or services that meet the customers requirements.
  • Generate customer quotations/proposals and assist customer service situations.
  • Follow up with customers on submitted quotations, in a timely manor, to obtain feedback on status of quotation/proposal.
  • Stay informed on competitive products/services, marketing promotions, sales techniques, pricing strategies, and manufacturing schedules.
  • Liaison with internal business unit personnel (business development/external sales, engineering, manufacturing, shipping/logistics) regarding customer requirements and opportunities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • 3+ years or supervisory experience.
  • 5+ technical sales/customer service experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Good communication skills.

DESIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2 - 5 years industry experience with strong technical product background.
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application experience.

  • Knowledge of department's policies, rules, regulations, business goals, vision, organizational structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles and values, etc.
