* Make an Impact! The Pharmacy Technician Specialist prepares intravenous admixtures and other sterile products accurately. The role compounds chemotherapy preparation per established policy and assists in completing all compounding personnel training to include competencies in hand hygiene, garbing, cleaning and disinfection, calculations, aseptic technique, use of equipment, documentation of the compounding process, understanding of proper user of primary engineering controls (PEC), and principles of movement of materials and personnel within the compounding area. This position requires you to wear a respirator as part of the job description.

Position: Pharmacy Technician Specialist- FT 40 hours/week- This role will function as an IV Clean Room Specialist

Shift: Day Shift-. Mon-Fri 730am-4pm- no weekends/holidays

Experience:
3 years hospital pharmacy or relevant IV compounding experience (ex. home infusion). One year of IV experience

Education:
High School or GED

Licensures/Certifications:
Certified Pharmacy Technician required
