Position Summary

This position will support the administration and reporting of global sales and service incentive plans designed to support business strategies. Key job duties will include the calculation and analysis of defined incentive plans, working with the compensation team to ensure accurate and timely payouts, and compliance with approved incentive plan designs. Additional responsibilities include reporting, assisting with manual adjustments, inquiry resolution, incentive plan modeling and analysis, and other administrative functions.



This is a hybrid role with the requirement of working onsite at our Mentor, OH Corporate HQ, 2 days a week. (Tuesday & Thursday). This schedule and these requirements can change at any time based on business and/or company needs.

What you'll do as a Field Incentive Analyst I

Monthly Commission Processing - 70%



  • Complete the calculation of monthly, quarterly and annual bonus/incentive payouts of defined and assigned field incentive plans. Ensure timely and accurate payouts. (The level I analyst will have responsibility for fewer or less complicated incentive plans)
  • Review and audit sales/service data to maintain accuracy and integrity of records loaded into the incentive system data base each month. Assist with the completion of manual adjustments as required to ensure compliance with approved, distributed incentive plans.
  • Investigate, assist with resolution of and respond to field inquiries regarding incentive payouts/calculations and sales reporting.
  • With manager or team lead assistance, review product and/or special programs and promotions. Complete initial cost modeling, and based on approved program, provide appropriate payouts.


Annual/New Year Plan Design/Administration - 20%



  • Assist with completion and audit of files necessary to manage the annual programming update; verify accuracy of data, and resulting calculations, and verify compliance with approved incentive plans.
  • Assist with creation of individual Plan and quota documents for all employees in responsibility groups. Ensure accuracy and compliance with approved, documented incentive plans.
  • Assist with completion of implementation & testing of assigned plans.


Reporting and Administrative - 10%



  • Provide data and/or ad hoc reporting to finance as needed for commission accruals.
  • Work with manager to prepare, review, and report on team progress against goals to assess overall success and effectiveness of incentive plans.
  • Assist with preparation of performance ranking reports to be distributed to field and to management.
  • Create, document and maintain processes, policies and procedures related to sales/service incentives.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws including SLA, Sarbanes-Oxley and other related requirements as defined by the DOL, IRS and SEC.
  • Assist in providing special reports as required from internal and/or external auditors as well as assist with on-side audit activity as required.

The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed

Required



  • Bachelor's degree and minimum one year of sales calculation, analysis and reporting experience OR
  • High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years' experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • High level of proficiency with advanced Excel functions required (to include Pivot Tables, recording macros, XLOOKUP, RANK, IF, and SUMIF functions.


Preferred



  • Experience with heavy data processing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) is helpful.
  • Experience with Cognos is helpful.

Pay range for this opportunity is$58,012.50-$75,075.00.This position is eligible forbonus participation.

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
