Function: Operations Job Summary:The Production Superintendent is responsible for ensuring that the production plan (budget) for the Upgrade Plants are met in a safe, efficient, timely, and cost effective manner each and every day. This position directs, develops, and manages the Production Department toward continued accomplishment of its objective of the safe, timely production, storage, and shipment of product in the correct quantity, quality, and cost. Safe operations, planning, coordinating, communicating, and controlling are major responsibilities of this position. Job Description:B.S. Engineering and/or 10+ years of supervisory experience in a chemical manufacturing facility. Effective leadership skills. Experience in Urea Ammonium Nitrate and/or Nitric Acid Production is preferred. Exposure to project management and implementation. Solid communication skills including the ability to effectively converse in English, compose written documents and interact effectively with peers and supervisors. Familiar with applicable codes, regulations and standards.
