Position Description: |
The University of Iowa Division of Cardiovascular Medicine inthe Department of Internal Medicine is recruiting an electrophysiologist. This position is in the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor on the tenure or clinical (non-tenure) track, depending on qualifications. The candidate will work at UIHC, IRL and outreach locations and may have some clinical effort at the Iowa City VA Medical Center. The candidate will have outpatient clinic and inpatient consult duties, perform procedures in the EP labs, and cover a share of night and weekend EP on-call responsibilities. Education Requirement: |
M.D. degree or equivalent. |
Required Qualifications: |
The successful candidate will have hands on experience in electrophysiology and evidence of scholarly work. |
Certifications: |
Board certified or board eligible in cardiovascular diseases and clinical cardiac electrophysiology. |
Desirable Qualifications: |
Applicants with evidence of a strong commitment to clinical research and teaching are preferred. A record of educational involvement and teaching is preferred. |
