The Opportunity with McKinstry
We are adding anHRBP- Program Managerto our growing People team inSeattle, Washington. This role is responsible for seamless delivery of People programs and driving operational excellence. You will be at the heart of our HR business partnership function, owning critical HR work, including process design and improvement, and project management of key initiatives and cyclical program delivery.
Responsibilities:
Continuously identify opportunities to improve the HRBP team's operating efficiency, creating and implementing streamlined processes, templates, and best practices to enhance business impact and manager effectiveness.
Act as the primary point of contact for the HRBP team on the implementation of HR programs, ensuring clear communication and seamless employee experience.
Develop and execute project plans to support the implementation of new initiatives, special projects, and change management activities.
Serve as a key operational partner by providing support to the HRBP team including managing terminations, unemployment, and employee changes.
Partner with our HRBPs and Centers of Excellence ("COE") to ensure programs are tailored and relevant to the specific needs of the business functions.
Partner with Sr. HRBPs, and/or lead assigned client groups in organizational design activities to streamline and implement new processes that align with McKinstry's business strategies.
Serve as a trusted advisor and a key resource for the HRBP team on all matters related to HR program implementation.
Work cross-functionally with People team COEs (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Talent Management & Development, HR Operations) to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to HR project and service delivery.
What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry
5+ years of experience in an HR role, with a significant portion dedicated to program or project management.
Proven experience working within or closely with an HR Business Partner team.
Demonstrated success in managing and delivering large-scale HR programs and initiatives (e.g., performance management cycles, compensation planning, organizational change).
Experience with HR operations and transformation work is highly desirable.

Proven experience leading large projects across multiple HR functional teams.
Must have strong critical thinking, growth-mindset, ability to navigate in ambiguity, and grey data, skillset.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information, documents, and records with professionalism and integrity.
Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and recommend data-driven solutions.
Ability to navigate and thrive in a complex and dynamic organizational environment.
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite - must show demonstrative written communications skills.

Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service in response to questions from all levels of employees and colleagues.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.

The pay range for this position is $80,100 to $134,400 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on market location. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
