Job Summary
The Start-Up Technician III is responsible for performing start-up, testing, and functionality checks on newly installed HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems and equipment. This role ensures all systems operate according to design specifications and project requirements. The technician completes and submits all necessary documentation and communicates effectively with internal managers, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders. Working under limited supervision, the Start-Up Technician III exercises sound judgment and technical expertise, with the authority to adjust procedures as needed based on field conditions. Additionally, this role provides training and mentorship to less experienced technicians, supporting their development and ensuring high standards of quality and performance. Essential Duties
Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. Vocational training, apprenticeships, or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred, with craft training highly valued. Mandatory requirement: EPA Certification. 7+ years of experience. Must be able to read and interpret blue prints, schematics and wiring diagrams. Coaching and mentoring skills Ability to understand budget activity per job. Excellent presentation skills.
