The Plant Manager provides strategic and hands-on leadership for all aspects of plant operations, ensuring a safe, compliant, efficient, and high-performing facility. This role serves as the site leader with full accountability for safety, environmental stewardship, quality, productivity, employee engagement, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities include:
Ensure compliance with all corporate, environmental, safety, and operational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Serve as the site's primary point of contact for all plant-related matters, including coordination with corporate departments such as Safety & Environmental (Zero Harm), Engineering, Human Resources, Procurement, Logistics, and Sales.
Provide effective leadership to direct and indirect reports, driving daily operational performance while building a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Develop, implement, and monitor operational plans and key performance indicators (KPIs) for safety, environmental compliance, production output, quality, cost control, and efficiency.
Set and communicate clear expectations around safety, quality, environmental performance, and production targets.
Oversee talent development initiatives, including performance management, coaching, training, and succession planning.
Ensure alignment and active participation in corporate initiatives including ISO 9001, ISO 9002, RC 14001, and Process Safety Management (PSM) standards.
Candidate Qualifications/ Requirements
Required and Preferred Background Education, Experience, Skills and Knowledge

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical discipline is required; an MBA, Masters in Chemical Engineering, or other advanced degree is strongly preferred.
