Position Summary
This position will serve as the Form I-9 Specialist for the School of Medicine ( SOM) for all student and temporary hires within the school, as well as any permanent faculty members not attending campus orientation. This position is also responsible for providing assistance in obtaining SOM ID badges, assistance in creating org charts, administrative support for the weekly SOM Orientation sessions, and serving as parking liaison for Medicine Administration, including SOM IT.

Flexible work arrangements, including remote/hybrid work locations, are an integral part of the School of Medicine's Working Forward initiative. As such, this position's work location is designated as 'Remote'. Please note that the designated work location is subject to change based on the unit's business needs.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and possesses excellent communication skills. Must have the ability to adapt to a continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities. Candidate must have strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations in a professional manner. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse customer base and effectively respond to customer inquiries using a variety of mediums. Candidate must be able to handle confidential material in a professional manner. Must have the ability to prioritize and meet stringent deadlines without compromising accuracy of work. Must have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Previous experience completing Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, in LawLogix is preferred. Also preferred is proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
