What You'll Do:

As an Avionics Technician, you will be using your skills and expertise to perform avionics maintenance according to FCC, FAA, DoD, and company policies and regulations. You'll be responsible for installing, testing, troubleshooting and repairing avionics components, routing, terminating, and securing wiring installations, and maintaining test equipment, tools, and manuals. You will be responsible for interpreting internal or customer provided engineering technical data packages and understanding applicability of all notes, standards, and regulations.

What We're Looking For:


  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience performing depot level and field level maintenance, upgrades, or modifications on C-130 variant airframes or commercial equivalents to include bench work and on aircraft installations.
  • Ability to understand and interpret applicable technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications; ability to route wires per technical drawings and applicable commercial/military standards.
  • Advanced skills with avionics installation tooling, wiring, wiring repair, wiring installation, soldering, and crimping techniques.
  • Ability to determine part or material identification from customer provided kits and their applicability to each installation.
  • May require certain certifications in field.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience operating within an AS9100 Quality Management System environment.
  • Ability to accurately report progress status updates on assigned work and complete required documentation.
  • Effective communication skills, sound decision making, and safety first mindset.
  • Ability to work as a part of a team or alone depending on complexity of installation.
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant License - Preferred but not required.
  • Personal toolbox with required tooling in good working order. - Preferred but not required.
  • Relevant prior military service working on C-130 variant airframes.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and computer skills.
  • Must be able to qualify for and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
