About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our Northwood, OH team. This is an urgent, onsite role with excellent benefits and career growth opportunities. The Quality Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring our branches consistently meet customer quality requirements, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and reducing quality escapes across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with branch leadership to address internal and external quality escapes.

  • Maintain and analyze quality charts, metrics, and reports.

  • Facilitate root cause investigations and corrective action implementation.

  • Drive Continuous Improvement projects to enhance quality processes.

  • Ensure compliance with customer quality metrics and expectations.

  • Support branch teams in achieving root cause analysis goals and corrective actions.

  • Leverage Six Sigma methodologies (Greenbelt certification a plus).

  • Apply extensive knowledge of inspection processes and controls.

  • Effectively read and interpret prints and drawings.

  • Communicate clearly through written and verbal channels.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, or a related field.

  • 4+ years of Quality Engineering experience.

  • Strong background in quality science, manufacturing methods, and inspection techniques.

  • Experience with root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.

  • Proficiency with PC tools (Excel, Word, data entry, reporting).

  • Knowledge of aerospace industry standards and practices.

Preferred Requirements:

  • AS9100 Auditor certification or ability to obtain certification.

  • Six Sigma Greenbelt training or certification.

  • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing quality control.
