Job Description

Are you passionate about guiding women through every stage of their journey-from first prenatal visit to postpartum care and beyond? Do you thrive in a collaborative, patient-centered environment where no two days are the same? If you're a Nurse Midwife ready to make a meaningful impact, let's talk.

Join our dynamic women's health team and play a key role in delivering holistic, evidence-based care to obstetrical and gynecological patients. Under the indirect supervision of a collaborating physician, you'll be empowered to take the lead in providing exceptional care, education, and support to patients-and their families-through all stages of life.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide expert prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and primary gynecological care for low to moderate risk patients.

  • Deliver comprehensive, compassionate care-independently and in collaboration with physicians and fellow healthcare providers.

  • Guide women through well-woman care across their lifespan, including education and preventive health services.

  • Educate and mentor nursing students, residents, and other healthcare learners in midwifery practices and normal childbirth.

  • Champion patient safety, quality improvement initiatives, and culturally competent care.

  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation with full confidentiality.

  • Promote patient empowerment through education using adult learning principles.

  • Actively engage in continuing education, professional development, and clinical research.

  • Stay sharp on current compliance standards, policies, and clinical regulations.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program

  • Current Registered Nurse license in Missouri

  • Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program with active national certification

  • Certified as a Nurse Midwife by the American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM) or recognized by the Missouri State Board of Nursing

  • Active Collaborative Practice Agreement with a physician

  • BCLS (Basic Life Support) certification

  • Minimum of 3-5 years clinical experience

  • Demonstrated clinical expertise, strong communication skills, and a heart for patient-centered care

  • Leadership ability and a growth mindset
