At Alstom, we understand transport networks and what moves people. Every day, more than 85,000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide-connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.

Could you be the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Coordinator we're looking for?

Your future role
As an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Coordinator at our JFK AirTrain site, you will play a key role in ensuring seamless day-to-day operations while supporting documentation control, performance reporting, and compliance initiatives. In this role, you will serve as a liaison between internal teams, clients, and regulatory agencies, with a focus on maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement across all O&M functions.

We'll look to you for:

  • Monitoring daily operations and maintenance activities to ensure goals are met and processes run efficiently.

  • Analyzing maintenance and operational data to identify trends and support performance improvements.

  • Preparing reports and presentations to communicate operational performance to site leadership.

  • Managing and organizing documentation, including site briefings, bulletins, method statements, SOPs, SWPs, and manuals.

  • Maintaining an up-to-date document registry, ensuring revisions and updates are accurately tracked and accessible.

  • Acting as a liaison between site leadership, clients, corporate functions, and regulatory agencies.

  • Coordinating with the Design Authority to support project requirements and maintain alignment with engineering standards.

  • Serving as the Airport SIDA site officer and managing badging and compliance with the SIDA office.

  • Supporting training efforts by ensuring records are properly tracked in Maximo and that staff are kept informed of updated procedures.

  • Tracking action items from meetings and ensuring timely follow-up and completion.

All about you
We value passion and attitude over experience. While we don't expect you to have every skill, here are some that will help you thrive in this role:

  • Solid understanding of operations and maintenance processes in a transportation or infrastructure environment.

  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work across teams and stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in SharePoint and Maximo, with strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

  • Experience creating clear, compelling presentations using PowerPoint.

  • Ability to effectively manage and organize large volumes of documentation.

  • Detail-oriented and proactive in tracking and resolving action items.

  • Valid driver's license in accordance with New York State Motor Vehicle Laws.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods in an office setting.

  • Ability to stand for 1-2 hours at a time when needed.

You don't need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. But when you ride one of our systems with friends or family, you'll take pride knowing you were part of what made it possible. If you're ready for the challenge, we'd love to hear from you!
