Job Description

This role is based in Manhattan, New York, NY

As Sales Manager, you'll champion customer retention while hunting for new business opportunities across our fashion event portfolio. You'll craft tailored solutions for diverse clients-from major fashion houses to emerging independent labels-ensuring an exceptional customer journey that builds lasting loyalty.

What You'll Do

  • Drive Revenue Success: Exceed sales targets across multiple products and revenue streams for our fashion events
  • Build Strategic Relationships: Develop and nurture a robust pipeline of both existing and new business clients
  • Master Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate forecasting models providing real-time insights for business planning
  • Excel in CRM Utilization: Document all client interactions and opportunities in Salesforce to enhance collaboration
  • Achieve Productivity Goals: Meet weekly KPIs focused on lead generation, prospecting, and client communications
  • Execute Territory Strategy: Partner with the Head of Sales to develop customized approaches for your market
  • Negotiate with Confidence: Close deals by skillfully addressing customer objections and maximizing revenue
  • Stay Industry-Connected: Maintain a strong presence at trade shows and fashion events, positioning yourself as a thought leader
Qualifications

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years in sales or business development, preferably in media, sponsorship, or B2B event sales
  • Exposure to the business of Womens' Contemporary Fashion
  • Proven negotiation skills with a consultative, value-based approach
  • Track record of closing high-level business in fast-paced environments
  • Creative and analytical thinking to develop tailored client solutions
  • Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Salesforce CRM
  • Passion for continuous learning about industry trends
  • Team-oriented mindset with excellent cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% for client meetings and industry events

The salary range for this role is $72,000-$85,500 base + commission (based on experience)
