Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Operations Manager to join our security business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Provide strategic direction and daily oversight for the Security Installations Programming Team, Technical Consultant Team, and Technology Specialist Team
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables
  • Conduct regular team meetings to review performance, address challenges, and share updates. - Manage preparation and configuration of security equipment for field deployment
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of hardware and software assets
  • Lead Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for service coordinators and field technicians
  • Establish escalation protocols and performance metrics for support resolution
  • Guide evaluation of new security technologies
  • Recommend standardized solutions for project installations to ensure consistency and scalability
  • Ensure readiness of technical teams for new installations, upgrades, and service rollouts
  • Provide input on project scope, risk assessment, and resource allocation
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and senior management, ensuring clear communication of goals, progress, and challenges
  • Provide regular updates and reports to leadership on operational status and strategic initiatives
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., IT, Procurement, Field Services) to support integrated operations

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • 5+ years of experience in operations, technical support, or project management roles
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity, preferably in a technical or field services environment
  • Experience working with security systems, IT infrastructure, or technology deployment is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of security technologies (e.g., CCTV, access control, alarm systems)
  • Familiarity with technical support processes, including Tier 2 and Tier 3 escalation handling
  • Proficiency in tools such as ticketing systems, project management software, and inventory/logistics platforms
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical teams, field staff, and senior leadership
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
