Are you our next Contract Billing Specialist?

Atlas Copco is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Contract Billing Specialist to manage billing operations for Customer contracts in US and Canada. This role ensures accurate invoicing, compliance with contract terms, and timely revenue recognition.

  • Review and interpret customer contracts to determine billing terms and conditions
  • Set up new contracts and process amendments in billing systems, ensuring all updates are accurately reflected
  • Build expertise in the operational CRM (SPIRIT) and ERP system (SAP) to streamline contract billing workflows
  • Generate and submit invoices based on contractual milestones or time-based billing schedules
  • Maintain accurate billing records, documentation, and audit trails
  • Collaborate with Finance and Sales teams to research and resolve billing discrepancies
  • Ensure full compliance with internal billing policies and external regulatory requirements
  • Manage Blanket Purchase Orders (BPOs) for U.S. and Canadian Customer Centers
  • Review and verify contract terms, pricing schedules, amendments, and change orders prior to invoicing
  • Stay current on contract management and billing best practices to support continuous improvement
  • Respond to internal and external billing inquiries in a professional, timely, and solution-focused manner
  • Proactively follow up on open orders awaiting parts; coordinate with internal stakeholders and vendors to expedite resolution
  • Maintain detailed and accurate contract notes within the SPIRIT system to support seamless order processing
  • Coordinate with site Team Leaders and Service Technicians to review and update contract status and resolve discrepancies in the system
  • Support the Service Support Department and assist with additional tasks or responsibilities as relevant and assigned

  • High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor's degree preferred but not required)
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
  • Adaptability to evolving workflows, tools, and business priorities
  • Proven ability to manage multiple contracts, tasks, and deadlines simultaneously
