Job Description

This is a unique opportunity for a mid-level creative professional to lead visual storytelling across digital, print, and experiential platforms. You'll not only design but help shape the creative strategy behind marketing campaigns, content development, and event branding. The ideal candidate has a strong background ingraphic design,content creation,visual communications, andstrategic marketingwithin a corporate or financial setting.

Responsibilities:

  1. Graphic Design:Create compelling digital and print materials such as pitch decks, reports, social media graphics, infographics, video stills, and event branding elements.
  2. Content Creation:Work closely with marketing and content teams to bring investment insights to life visually-through infographics, thought leadership templates, email designs, and video assets.
  3. Creative Direction:Guide the visual development of strategic marketing campaigns, ensuring creative output aligns with brand goals, target audience, and tone.
  4. Strategic Collaboration:Partner with stakeholders across investment, marketing, and events teams to support business objectives through impactful creative.
  5. Event Design:Partner with the event team for creative execution for event-related visuals, including signage, branded assets, digital screens, and promotional materials.
  6. Brand Stewardship:Uphold and evolve the visual brand guidelines to enhance clarity, credibility, and engagement across all platforms.
  7. Vendor Management:Manage freelancers/agency partners as extensions of the team.
  8. Process Management:Partner with Marketing Services / COO to manage creative timelines, version control, and delivery across multiple projects while liaising with vendors for production where needed.
  9. Industry:Stay current with design trends and apply relevant innovations that enhance engagement and clarity in a financial services context.

Qualifications

Education

  • Minimum: 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or related field

Years of Experience

  • Minimum: 7+ years of relevant experiencea graphic design, visual communications, or creative marketing role-ideally within financial services, corporate communications, or a B2B environment.

Qualifications & Experience

  1. Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or related field.
  2. At least 7 years of experience in a graphic design, visual communications, or creative marketing role-ideally within financial services, corporate communications, or a B2B environment.
  3. A strong portfolio demonstrating design excellence across multiple content formats (digital, print, social, video).
  4. Experience in developing and executing creative strategy in alignment with broader marketing and brand goals.
  5. Familiarity with content strategy and how design supports storytelling and thought leadership in financial services.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in the following platforms/tools is required:

  1. Adobe Creative Suite- InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects
  2. FigmaorSketch- for UI design, collaboration, and prototyping
  3. Canva- for flexible template-driven design needs
  4. Microsoft Office Suite- particularly PowerPoint and Word
  5. Video editing basics- familiarity with Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar tools
  6. Airtable- project management
  7. Understanding of web content formats and responsive design is a plus

Additional Information

RRD's current salary range for this role is $84,100 to $134,600 / year. The salary range may be adjusted based on the applicable geographic location of the hired employee, and the range may change in the future. At RRD, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. Depending on the role, in addition to base salary, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program. RRD's benefit offerings include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, life insurance and other voluntary supplemental insurance coverages, plus parental leave, adoption assistance, tuition assistance and employer/partner discounts.
