Waste Connections has an immediate opening for Data Entry/Reporting Specialist at our AJ Blosenski Hauling site in Honey Brook, PA.

The Data Entry and Reporting Specialist will play a key role in maintaining accurate records of data and supporting operational and financial reporting. This individual will work closely with the Operations team to ensure all data is accounted for and will assist in resolving any discrepancies or missing data. The data collected will be used by the Accounts Payable (AP) team to reconcile invoices, by the Finance team to analyze trends and by the candidate to generate various reports.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter disposal ticket data into Excel spreadsheets.
  • Ensure completeness and correctness of data by investigating and resolving missing or inconsistent entries.
  • Work with the Operations team to locate missing tickets.
  • Communicate with customers, local counties, and municipal townships regarding recycling and disposal data.
  • Create and maintain a Disposal Tracker to monitor site spending against forecasts.
  • Generate Recycling Reports for distribution to customers.
  • Prepare and submit Annual Reports to local counties in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Use pivot tables, filters, and formulas to analyze and summarize data.
  • Maintain organized and auditable records for internal and external reporting.
  • Proactively identify and implement process enhancements to improve the timeliness and completeness of disposal ticket submissions from teams.

Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and basic data analysis.
  • Comfortable investigating and resolving data discrepancies.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple reporting deadlines and collaborate across teams.
