*Description*
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Desktop Support Technician in South San Francisco. In this role, you will provide hands-on and remote technical support to end users, ensuring seamless operation of hardware, software, and network systems. You will be a key player in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. *Key Responsibilities:* * Deliver Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support via phone, email, chat, remote tools, and in-person interactions. * Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows 10/11, macOS, Office 365, Active Directory, and network connectivity. * Support and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals. * Utilize ServiceNow to manage, track, and resolve incidents, service requests, and tasks. * Perform hardware imaging, deployment, and configuration using standard tools and procedures. * Ensure timely resolution of issues while meeting or exceeding Service Level Agreements (SLAs). * Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical problems. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of support activities and technical procedures. * Identify recurring issues and contribute to process improvements and knowledge base updates. * Provide support for virtual meetings and conferencing tools, especially Microsoft Teams. * Follow dispatch instructions and complete tasks as assigned by management or ticketing system. * Maintain a strong focus on customer service, professionalism, and communication. *Required Qualifications:* * 3-5 years of experience in a corporate desktop support or IT helpdesk environment. * Proficiency in Windows OS, macOS, Active Directory, Office 365, and OneDrive. * Experience with remote support tools such as Bomgar, RDP, or similar. * Familiarity with encryption tools like BitLocker and McAfee Endpoint Encryption. * Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms. * Strong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software issues. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. *Preferred Skills:* * Experience supporting enterprise-level IT environments. * Knowledge of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). * Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) solutions. * IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or similar are a plus. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
