We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated Case Manager to join our Alcohol Treatment Court and Drug Treatment Court programs. This exciting role involves intensive support, supervision, and monitoring of individuals with 3rd and 4th OWI driving convictions. Job Summary:As a Case Manager, you will provide essential case management services to clients, helping them navigate their recovery journey from initial intake through to discharge. Your work will involve direct engagement, collaboration with treatment teams, and the administration of assessments that ensure our clients receive the necessary care and support. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist the Post Conviction Program Director in training new staff as the program expands. -
Collaborate with fellow case managers to ensure weekly updates and monthly reports are submitted to the Post Conviction PD. -
Work closely with the Jefferson Treatment Team Coordinator to manage daily operations on-site, addressing concerns as needed. -
Manage a shared caseload of up to 40-50 individuals, providing consistent support and accountability for their recovery. -
Administer screening tools and risk assessments in collaboration with Jefferson County, reporting results to the Alcohol and Drug Treatment Courts. -
Facilitate referrals to treatment and community support services tailored to individual needs. -
Conduct face-to-face meetings with participants at various locations, including the office, jail, and courthouse, to ensure effective supervision and monitoring. -
Administer Preliminary Breath Tests and direct observation drug tests, following strict Chain of Custody protocols. -
Maintain ongoing communication with treatment providers to monitor participant progress, reporting back to the JCATC/JCDTC Team. -
Oversee monetary aspects, ensuring timely payment of treatment and court-related fees. -
Prepare comprehensive documentation for weekly team staffing and court hearings, highlighting participant activity and progress. -
Actively participate in all staffing and court processes, assisting with recommendations for phase levels, sanctions, and incentives. -
Produce and maintain accurate written and electronic files and documentation, ensuring confidentiality for all clients. -
Install and monitor SCRAM bracelets as needed. -
Engage in required training and continuous professional development.

Job Qualifications: |
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work, or a related field. -
Must meet all employee requirements including references, criminal background check, drug test, and valid driver's license.

Strong understanding of the Justice System and local treatment resources. -
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with a diverse population. -
Proficient in technology including Microsoft 365 applications and case management software. -
Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment. -
Capability to adapt to changing situations and function effectively within a team. -
Commitment to professionalism and ethical standards.
Physical Demands:The role requires good hearing and verbal communication skills, dexterity for data entry, and may involve driving within Jefferson County for those authorized. |
