Work Shift:

Salary Exempt (United States of America) The IC/Production Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our production processes. This position is responsible for scheduling production activities, managing inventory levels, and overseeing purchasing functions to ensure timely delivery of materials and products. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Production Scheduling:

  • Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.
  • Coordinate with production, engineering, and sales teams to ensure alignment on production priorities and capacity planning.
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in demand or production capabilities.

Inventory Control:

  • Manage and monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Implement inventory control procedures and best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

Purchasing:

  • Source and procure materials, components, and supplies necessary for production, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best terms and pricing while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the production, logistics, and quality assurance teams to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on production schedules, inventory status, and procurement activities.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze production and inventory data to identify trends, forecast needs, and support decision-making processes.
  • Prepare reports on production performance, inventory status, and procurement activities for management review.

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Education And/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related experience..
  • Proven experience in production scheduling, inventory control, and purchasing, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
