The Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) global business unit has overall responsibility for all aspects of business strategy, development and management of commercial products, as well as platform development and commercial information management. VCS serves clients engaged in providing payment products to middle market and large corporate/multinational companies, governments and commercial supply chain/B2B segments. VCS is accountable for global interoperability of Commercial products and services developing new channel solutions and technology support building alliances and solutions for new products, technologies, platforms and market segment penetration and business unit analytics and reporting.

    JOB Description

    As Senior Product Manager for the Virtual Card Engine (VCE), we are looking for a proactive and innovative individual who is eager to learn and can excel both independently and as part of a team. VCE is a core offering within Visa's Virtual Card product suite. In this role, you will report to the Product Lead for Virtual Card Core Products and act as the Product Owner for one or more VCE scrum teams.

    The right candidate will be able to combine successful product development process experience with effective collaboration, facilitation, leadership, and technical skills. This role will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end product management including understanding global market needs, developing product vision and strategy, roadmap creation and communication, product design and development, release planning, and marketing of our VCE product across a wide range of workstreams including Technology, Risk, Legal, Regulatory, Operations, Implementation, Client Service and the regional product teams.

    The role demands strong analytical, collaborative, strategic, and technical product skills, along with extensive experience using JIRA/Jira Align to write epics, features, and user stories, as well as to capture product OKRs. In addition, the role is required to develop a deep understanding of the Virtual Card Engine platform, ensure changes to the product are executed on time and budget, and that Issuer and client impacts are understood, communicated, and managed.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Continuing to develop and expand a deep understanding of Virtual Card strategies, priorities, customer and market needs and integrating them into the product roadmap.
    • Bringing a Can do attitude.
    • Defining and prioritizing product features and writing clear, thorough user stories and communicating them effectively with the technical team.
    • Managing, tracking progress, and achieving product OKRs.
    • Serve as the business representative by overseeing project team progress, addressing and escalating issues as needed. Collaborate with internal support and sales teams to educate, collect customer feedback, and resolve product-related issues.
    • Planning and conducting User Acceptance Testing to ensure successful business releases.
    • Producing product documentation including User Guides, Product Overview decks and training materials.
    • Drive go-to-market initiatives by partnering closely with program management, regional product managers, other product teams, finance, operations, legal, compliance, and external stakeholders as required.
    • Provide product expertise and engage with client financial institutions by leveraging relationships with regional product, implementation, and support teams.
    • Collaborate with the Operations team to monitor and maintain the overall health of all B2B platforms.
    • Partner with Business Support teams to address and manage escalations.
    • Oversee the tracking and prioritization of defects across all B2B platforms.
    • Displaying a high level of critical thinking and problem resolution for new and existing products.
    • Strong leadership, interpersonal/communication skills, collaborates while having backbone within and across organizations.
    • Operates with minimal supervision and able to make informed, well-reasoned decisions independently.
    • Thrives in an environment that is fast-paced, rapidly changing, and customer service-oriented.

    Qualifications

    Permanent Authorization to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment for this position. Visa will not sponsor applicants for work visas in connection with this position.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
    • 6+ or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 4+ years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
    • Strong leadership, interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with others in cross-functional teams to implement and assess the operational impact of changes to processes/procedures.
    • Proven experience managing product development using Scrum Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, product demonstrations, testing phases, and retrospectives to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
    • Experience in presenting and communicating complex/detailed topics.
    • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word), Jira align and Jira.
    • Prior experience with commercial card B2B payments is a plus.
    • Good Understanding of end-to-end B2B payment flows (including B2C2B scenarios) is a plus.
    • Knowledge of alternative digital and B2B payment platforms-including ACH, RTP, SWIFT, and ISO 20022-is desirable
    • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details
    • Demonstrated experience working as a product manager
    • Ability to identify points of failure and to formulate error-handling approaches for product resiliency
    • Strong ability to multi-task, organize, manage, and implement complex projects whether directly or through supervision.
    • Thrives in an environment that is fast-paced, rapidly changing, and customer service-oriented.
    • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word)

    Travel Requirements:This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

    U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 143,200.00 to 207,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
