Associated Bank is looking for a Quality Assurance Team Lead to work in our Green Bay office (hybrid work situation). With the QA Manager, the QA Team Lead is responsible for the management of a team of QA Test Analysts, establishing objectives, measuring results, accountability and development. Team Lead will also work with the QA Manager and QA Leads to develop and implement appropriate test strategy for projects. The Team Lead will work with QA Leads to form project teams with internal and contract QA resources, guide test strategy development, and monitor progress for time, quality and budget goals. Team Leads will work with the project team and QA Lead to create the project's test strategy. Team Leads work with the QA Lead to ensure the project has the necessary resources to complete testing on schedule while using sound testing methodology and communicates test results to the project team. Team Leads work with offshore contract staffing organizations to augment projects with offshore testers. Team Leads should enjoy managing multiple priorities and work efforts. Team Leads work with the development of team colleagues, planning work assignments, identifying training opportunities and working with them on their professional growth. With feedback from colleagues, Team Leads provide feedback and mentoring to QA colleagues on a regular basis including annual reviews. Team Leads should possess a solid knowledge of test management principals and guidelines, and knowledge of software applications within their team's testing focus. Team Leads should possess software automation skills and performance testing skills. Manage a team of QA professionals, establishing objectives, measuring results, accountability and development. Help provide test strategy and allocate testing resources for projects. Ensure the standards imposed by the QA Center of Excellence are upheld for all projects. Work to ensure project testing comes in on time and within budget. This position is hybrid which means the individual will work in the Green Bay office location and from home in the Green Bay area.

This person will,

  • Manage QA Analysts and work with other QA Analyst Leads, working toward best practices and efficiencies, workload prioritization and management, results reporting and communication. Identify and provide coaching and training opportunities for test analysts. Maintain department procedures documentation and train new test analysts on testing methodologies, business partners, lending systems, testing tools and systems, Share Point, and other required systems.

  • Alongside the QA Analyst Lead and Project Team, develop a test strategy for projects, ensuring it meets the standards of the QA Center of Excellence, including full system integration testing to reporting and servicing.

  • Identify resource needs and assign to projects. Identify additional testing resources (performance, SIT) that may be needed. Identify test cases that are automation candidates and review with Automation Test Team.

  • Work with offshore contract staffing organizations to augment staffing needs with offshore testers.

  • Lead System Integration Testing efforts by analyzing environments and working with the ASB enablement team to ensure end-to-end testing can be successfully completed.

  • Lead performance testing efforts using JMeter

  • Lead API performance testing efforts using Postman

  • Lead QA data testing efforts using ETL

  • Lead software automation efforts using Selenium and GitHub

  • Work with the Enablement Team to connect automation scripts to CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with line of business partners, internal IT partners and vendor contacts. Responsible to review and monitor system implementations with risk and compliance teams to ensure full regulatory compliance.

  • Execute all activities in accordance with all regulatory requirements and in accordance with Associate Bank's brand standards and financial expectations.

Due to work requirements, candidates must be located within 30 miles of Green Bay, WI.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.

Experience

  • At least 6 years of experience with test management principals and guidelines Required. As part of that 6 years of experience with test management principals and guidelines, individuals must have:

  • 5 years of experience with software applications;

  • 5 years of experience with software automation and performance testing;

  • 5 years of experience with test management tools including Jira and Xray.

  • 6 years of experience managing a team of QA professionals.

  • 6 years of experience working in a bank or financial institution setting.

  • 5 years of experience with Atlassian Confluence.

  • 5 years of experience with SQL and Snowflake, Selenium, GitHub, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD Pipelines.

  • 6 years of Experience with AWS Device Farm, JMeter and Postman.

Licenses and Certifications

  • ISTQB - CTAL-TM certification or equivalent Required
