ChampionX is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Procurement

Transformation Project Manager to lead the rollout of ERP procurement modules and in house grown digital procurement portals. This role is critical to driving operational excellence, stakeholder engagement, and sustainable procurement practices across the organization. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in project management, ERP implementation (SAP S/4HANA preferred), and procurement process transformation, with a strong understanding of business needs.

This role will serve as a key liaison between Procurement, Finance, Legal, ESG, and Digital teams, ensuring that procurement systems and processes are aligned with strategic goals and deliver measurable value. The successful candidate will also lead initiatives related to ESG compliance, supplier diversity, and process governance.

What You Will Do:

ERP Procurement Rollout (SAP S/4HANA):

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of SAP S/4HANA Procurement modules, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
  • Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables across cross-functional teams.
  • Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to define and optimize procurement processes.
  • Oversee testing, training, and change management to ensure successful adoption.
  • Partner with IT and external consultants to ensure technical execution supports business goals.

Procurement Portal & Ecosystem Enablement:

  • Drive the rollout and continuous improvement of digital procurement portals (e.g., supplier onboarding, P2P platforms).
  • Ensure business continuity by managing support processes and vendor SLAs.
  • Champion user experience and stakeholder adoption through training and engagement.
  • Collaborate with third-party providers to integrate ESG and compliance tools into the procurement ecosystem.

Project Management, Process Governance and continuous improvements

  • Lead procurement initiatives or cross functional initiatives like GHG Scope 3 emissions,
  • Lead the Procurement Process & Governance team to standardize and improve procurement operations.
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and performance metrics.
  • Identify and implement process efficiencies and automation opportunities.

Talent management

  • Challenge our talented people and help them grow
  • Supports early development of the talent pipeline through extern and intern programs.
  • Participates and leads special projects, stretch assignments, and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or project management.
  • 5+ years of experience managing teams and leading cross-functional projects.
  • Proven experience in ERP (SAP S/4HANA preferred) and procurement portal implementations.
  • Strong understanding of procure to pay processes and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
