About Salesforce

We're Salesforce, the Customer Company, inspiring the future of business with AI+ Data +CRM. Leading with our core values, we help companies across every industry blaze new trails and connect with customers in a whole new way. And, we empower you to be a Trailblazer, too - driving your performance and career growth, charting new paths, and improving the state of the world. If you believe in business as the greatest platform for change and in companies doing well and doing good - you've come to the right place.

Salesforce is continuing to transform its global marketing operations to drive customer success and business growth. As part of this evolution, we're looking for a senior leader to oversee the strategy, governance, and execution of our global media operations-encompassing technology platforms, performance intelligence, and process enablement across paid media investments.

This leader will be responsible for building a scalable and future-ready operating model that enables performance-driven media execution. The role will oversee the tools, infrastructure, workflows, and cross-functional alignment needed to manage media investments effectively and transparently. This includes managing key vendor and platform relationships, optimizing campaign operations, and enabling insights that guide planning, measurement, and investment decisions.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in digital marketing operations, paid media technology, and analytics. They bring a track record of building and managing high-performing teams, partnering with data and engineering stakeholders, and leading large-scale programs across regions, business units, and functions. As this space continues to evolve, the role will help shape how Salesforce defines, scales, and innovates in media delivery and performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the roadmap and operations strategy for global media execution, platforms, and processes-ensuring alignment with marketing, technology, and business goals.

  • Lead and grow a high-performing team focused on media systems, operational enablement, vendor management, and performance intelligence.

  • Manage and optimize the deployment of key media platforms and tools across paid media channels, ensuring global consistency, governance, and compliance.

  • Drive process standardization, platform integration, and campaign execution excellence across regions and clouds.

  • Partner with data, analytics, and engineering teams to improve reporting infrastructure, measurement frameworks, and intelligence capabilities that support media planning, performance optimization, and investment decisions.

  • Support innovation and experimentation in areas such as custom bidding, quality scoring, targeting models, and measurement attribution.

  • Maintain strong relationships with key partners (internal and external), including media agencies, platform vendors, data providers, and engineering teams.

  • Champion best practices in digital media operations, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and Salesforce's standards of trust.

  • Represent the team internally and externally, acting as a thought leader and advocate for operational excellence in paid media.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 15+ years of experience across paid media, marketing operations, digital analytics, or advertising technology roles.

  • Proven leadership of large-scale media operations or platform strategy functions at a global enterprise level.

  • Experience managing cross-functional programs and aligning multiple stakeholders across regions, business units, and functional teams.

  • Familiarity with paid media platforms and tools (e.g., ad servers, search and display platforms, campaign management systems, reporting tools).

  • Deep understanding of digital marketing measurement, campaign data, and performance optimization.

  • Strong technical acumen and experience working closely with data, analytics, and engineering teams.

  • Proficient in data analysis and modeling techniques; SQL or equivalent knowledge a plus.

  • Working knowledge of privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and their impact on digital marketing practices.

  • Executive-level communication and influencing skills; able to engage and align senior leaders.

  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, lead, and develop high-performing, diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in SaaS, B2B, or enterprise technology companies.

  • MBA or equivalent business and leadership experience.

  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce products and marketing stack is a plus.
