Our success is defined by our ability to deliver relevant content that creates trials, sales pipeline, and ultimately, new customers.Job Details:We are seeking a highly creative, motivated, and passionate Director, Product Marketing to drive the messaging, launches, awareness, and product marketing strategy for Salesforce Data Cloud's Segmentation & Activation and Data Collaboration/Clean Rooms roadmap. This pivotal role also involves building and refining the core Data Cloud for Marketing narrative and message. It requires a strategic, hands-on leader with demonstrable expertise across all facets of product marketing.Salesforce Data Cloud unlocks the full value of your data across the enterprise. Natively built on the Salesforce Platform, it powers your Customer 360 apps, Agentforce, and amplifies your existing data lake or warehouse investments to activate real-time insights and intelligent action.You will be responsible for defining product positioning & messaging, leading high-impact product launches, orchestrating demo storyboarding, shaping AR/PR strategies, and supporting sales enablement for Data Cloud Segmentation & Activation and Data Collaboration/Clean Rooms features. You thrive on building scalable initiatives and possess a proven ability to drive cross-functional alignment across diverse teams. Success in this role demands strong presentation skills, executive presence, and the ability to confidently navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced, evolving market. Responsibilities
  • Lead End-to-End Product Launches: Own and drive major product launches specifically for Data Cloud's Segmentation & Activation and Data Collaboration/Clean Rooms, ensuring successful market introduction, positioning/messaging, adoption, and measurable impact against defined KPIs. This includes actively supporting public relations efforts and contributing to press release content for key announcements.
  • Own the Marketing Persona Narrative & Messaging: Develop clear, compelling narratives, value propositions, and differentiated positioning and messaging specifically for Data Cloud for Marketing portfolio, ensuring it deeply resonates and drives adoption.
  • Drive Sales Enablement & Programs: Collaborate with sales leadership to develop comprehensive marketing solutions, support always-on sales plays, and strategic sales programs. Build and lead effective sales training materials and enablement initiatives that fuel pipeline and accelerate deal closure.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert: for Data Cloud's Segmentation & Activation, and Data Collaboration/Clean Rooms features, continuously monitoring industry trends, competitive landscapes, customer needs, and incorporate new technologies into our events, keynotes, product launches, and demos. Additionally, you'll support analyst relations to ensure key product narratives are effectively communicated to industry analysts.
  • Oversee Content Strategy & Delivery: Drive the creation and delivery of high-impact content, including messaging & positioning documents, pitch decks, demo storyboards and demo videos, webinars, blogs, case studies, and more, to amplify the Data Cloud Segmentation & Activation, and Data Collaboration/Clean Rooms message globally.
  • Shape Product Strategy: Partner closely with Data Cloud Product Management to influence and shape innovative product investments that directly address customer needs and market opportunities within segmentation, activation, and data collaboration.
  • Confidently deliver compelling presentations to internal and external audiences of all sizes, including executive leadership, customers, and partners.
Required Skills:
  • 8+ years of experience in product marketing, industry marketing or corporate marketing.
  • Demonstrable expertise in leading product launches from strategy to execution.
  • Proven ability to strategize, craft, and communicate compelling messaging and positioning for complex technology products.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present to executive leaders, cross-functional partners, and customers
  • Ability to create a range of marketing assets including, on-message product demo videos, sharp succinct slide pitch-decks, product data sheets, enablement material, press releases, and blog posts.
  • Experience working directly with industry analysts (e.g., Gartner, Forrester) and leading briefings to shape industry narratives.
  • Ability to use data and analytics to drive decision-making as well as a consistent track record of setting and delivering against measurable marketing metrics.
  • Expertise in creating strong working relationships with cross-functional teams and align with global stakeholders
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with the Salesforce products, Data + AI/CDP platforms and/or other SaaS and B2B technology platforms preferred
  • Get-it-Done confidence to pick up and lead new projects even in the face of ambiguity

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $193,800 to $281,100. For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $177,600 to $257,600. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $193,800 to $281,100.
