About Salesforce

We're Salesforce, the Customer Company, inspiring the future of business with AI+ Data +CRM. Leading with our core values, we help companies across every industry blaze new trails and connect with customers in a whole new way. And, we empower you to be a Trailblazer, too - driving your performance and career growth, charting new paths, and improving the state of the world. If you believe in business as the greatest platform for change and in companies doing well and doing good - you've come to the right place.

Who We Are:
Product Strategy & Operations at Slack sits at the intersection of data, operations, and strategy. While we support our Product and Engineering teams directly, we work closely with the broader Slack and Salesforce leadership teams and partner cross-functionally across our Go-to-Market and Operations organizations. One of our team values, "Act as COO", highlights the work that we do: Our partners rely on us for our objectivity and data-driven perspective, our committed approach, and our 360-degree business context where we connect the dots and build consultative partnerships.

We have built our team to optimize for developing each other while delivering maximum impact. Individuals are stretched as we are relied upon to lead from the front and tackle new and complex initiatives. We are curious, inventive, and work to be a little better every single day. We value humility and approach all work with an open mind. We have a support structure that allows every single team member to demonstrate their strengths and build new skills!

As a core member of the team, you will deliver insights that drive decision-making, execution, and investments for key product initiatives. Success requires clear communication skills, analytical savvy, problem-solving sophistication, and a passion for operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Self-Serve (PLG) business - utilize our Self-Serve model to forecast and report on performance, creating scenarios for planning and identifying opportunities for product-led growth.
  • Support the Self-Serve (PLG) business - increase the understanding and intuition of our Self-Serve funnel by leading deep-dive analyses (often using SQL) and education sessions with key business partners.
  • Contribute to the product roadmap - assist in the end-to-end process for new product introduction, including opportunity sizing, pricing & packaging strategies and GTM execution to enable a smooth and successful launch.
  • Contribute to the product roadmap - interpret and translate data into digestible and actionable insights to guide strategy and decision-making; identify risks and opportunities, scope frameworks and influence early stage ideation as well as long-term product strategy.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally - partner with stakeholders across Salesforce to ensure accurate reporting, metric alignment, and effective communication during business reviews.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally - build and maintain relationships with the Growth Product, Marketing, and Analytics teams that support our Self-Serve business to drive coordination, prioritization and consensus among partners.

We strive to build a culture that balances our values with high standards of execution. You are someone who can:

  • Master data exploration, scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, etc for a variety of projects.
  • Simplify huge data sets, complex problems and extract insights with frameworks and analyses.
  • Bring structure and clarity to ambiguous projects while remaining meticulous and detail oriented.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of related work experience at a high-performing tech company (Saas experience preferred), management consulting, or investment banking
  • Advanced analytical skills (including data modeling) and business insight
  • Practical experience writing SQL queries and pulling data from relational databases
  • Experience dealing with unstructured business issues
  • Ability to build clear and concise models and presentations
  • Effective communicator with peers and senior leaders
  • Strong project management skills
  • Bachelor's degree
