This is an interview position.

Responsible for reviewing, monitoring documenting and measuring performance standards for GTS entries and Customer Databases to ensure that quality levels are adhered to the highest standards of FedEx clearance procedures and regulatory compliance. Provides technical customs regulations expertise to internal and external customers pertaining to Canadian and International Customs Regulations and Legislation including specific guidance on processing low value (LVS) and high value (HVS) entries.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

College diploma or equivalent

Certified Canadian Customs Specialist (CSS) designation

2 years of experience as a GTS Sr. Broker is required or equivalent external experience

Incumbents must maintain their CCS designation when in this position. Must achieve annual re-currency points.

In the province of Quebec, must be bilingual (English and French).

Excellent Mathematical Skills

Knowledge of International Customs documentation and regulations

In depth knowledge of customs, agriculture, food and drug, tariff and valuation laws and other government department laws and policies

Demonstrated knowledge of different agency clearance requirements and release processes required.

Computer literacy and proficiency:

List specific software application knowledge

Excel - Basic

Minimum of 25 wpm on data entry alpha numeric testing preferred

GRADE : 84
