We're Hiring: Director - Strategy & M&A Delivery Partner

Position Summary:

The Director, Strategy and M&A Delivery Partner serves as a liaison between the Strategic Execution Team (SET) and assigned business unit verticals, acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership teams.

This individual is responsible for understanding business unit needs, aligning SET resources, and facilitating collaboration across SET functions - including Market Intelligence, Strategy Development & Business Development (M&A), Corporate Development (M&A), Global Products & Solutions, and Venture.

A critical part of this role is ensuring the delivery of insights and strategic recommendations that drive clarity in decision-making, accelerate operating income/EBITDA growth, and enable business expansion.

The ideal candidate is a resourceful problem-solver with understanding of strategy execution and the ability to engage with senior leaderships with credibility and influence.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Partnership & Business Unit Engagement

  • Serve as the SET contact for assigned business group and business unit verticals, deeply understanding their strategic priorities, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Act as a facilitator, ensuring business unit verticals effectively navigate SET's capabilities to address their needs.
  • Guide business unit verticals in prioritizing and sequencing strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives.
  • Ensure strategy recommendations and insights translate into clear, data-driven decisions that enhance business performance, growth, and profitability.
  • Build strong relationships with SET leaders and team members to understand their expertise and capabilities, ensuring alignment between SET resources and business unit needs.

Resource Allocation & Cross-Functional Facilitation

  • Coordinate across SET functions (Market Intelligence, Strategy Development & Business Development (M&A), Corporate Development (M&A), Global Products & Solutions, and Venture) to bring the right expertise and resources to each initiative.
  • Ensure active rotation of SET leaders to intentionally increase business unit exposure, highlighting key expertise domains that can add value to the business unit.
  • Drive integration across multiple strategic initiatives, ensuring a cohesive and coordinated approach.

Executive Communication & Influence

  • Develop and deliver high-impact thought leadership for senior business leaders.
  • Synthesize strategic insights into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for executive audiences.

Strategy Execution & Performance Management

  • Support assigned business unit verticals in translating strategic direction into actionable execution plans, identifying key milestones and success metrics.
  • Monitor progress on strategic initiatives, proactively identifying risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Drive measurable impact by ensuring strategic initiatives directly contribute to EBITDA growth and business expansion.
  • Ensure continuous alignment between business unit performance and long-term strategic objectives.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • 8+ years directly related and progressively responsible experience
  • Previous experience in consulting, mergers and acquisitions, corporate development, or finance in healthcare industry preferred
  • Degrees/Certifications:Advanced degree or MBA preferred

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare or pharmaceutical market research methodologies, both primary and secondary, with the ability to conduct thorough market analyses
  • Ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans based on market insights and organizational goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to various audiences.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify problems, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions.
  • Working knowledge of merger and acquisition activities including financial evaluations, due diligence, negotiations and closings
