Bally's also has rights to developable land in Las Vegas at the site of the former Tropicana Las Vegas. The Role: Manager - Marketing Responsibilities:
- Work closely with media agency on all mass media advertising and marketing items.
- Assist in all PR efforts and events.
- Coordinate the Company's web and email marketing initiatives.
- Maintain brand consistency in all produced pieces for the Company, including the website
- Monitor and supervise advertising and direct marketing budgets and deadlines
- Proofread all marketing materials.
- Track expenses, reconcile invoices and report forecast expenses to Operations Analyst, for casino, hotel, harness and food and beverage.
- Coordinate with Database Analyst to maintain database hygiene and offer upload process
- Produce reports and response analysis
- Act as point of contact for media for advertising proposals and interview requests.
- Oversee media production and coordination
- Present creative ideas on new ways to promote the property.
- Design and schedule the marquee messages for casino, hotel, harness and motorsports
- Oversee all of the email marketing efforts as well as internet marketing
- Respond to inquiries within 24 hours of receipt
- Responsible for the supervision of department staff.
- Responsible for the performance management of staff including the timely completion of employee evaluations.
- Conduct training with subordinates, both formally and informally
- Issue discipline and terminate employees as appropriate
- Reward and recognize superior performers
- Oversee and ensure that employees work safely and follow all safety rules
- Drive personal vehicle for business-related purposes
- Interviews, selects, hires and retains superior employees
- Coaches, and counsels subordinate employees
- Exercises considerable judgement in determining priorities, managing projects and assignments, delegating work, and overall accomplishment of goals and tasks.
- Manages departmental budget, maximizing revenue and controlling expenses as appropriate
- Manages payroll and labor costs
- Maintains relevant records and oversees the maintenance of records as appropriate for the department
- Develops and implements strategic goals, objectives and business plans for the department
- Ensures compliance with relevant laws and regulations as well as company policies and procedures
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of industry and competition
- Ensures effective communication within the department and company
- Establishes and implements customer service standards
- Holds subordinates accountable for established performance expectations
- Motivates and develops staff; provides advice and guidance as appropriate
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field required or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years of related marketing experience.
- Must possess knowledge of Marketing strategies used to increase customer worth, retention, acquisition, and satisfaction.
- Must possess superior customer service and leadership skills
- Must possess superior written and oral communication skills
- Must be able to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations
- Must present an overall professional appearance
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays and nights as scheduled
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check and receive a license from the DE Lottery
- Must possess a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office software.
- Must be able to speak, read and write English
