The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek an academic electrophysiologist to join the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, Advanced Arrhythmia Program as Associate Director for Arrhythmia Research. Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience. Position Overview The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine seeks a board-certified/ board-eligible Advanced Arrhythmia physician/physician-scientist with an extramurally funded clinical or translation research program to join an elite team of academic physicians at the assistant, associate, or full professor rank. The successful candidate will focus on routine and complex atrial arrhythmia, atrial fibrillation, and ventricular arrhythmia, including inpatient and outpatient consultative and primary services in a world-class facility at the Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital. The Ohio State University Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is setting new standards for advanced heart and vascular care through our internationally and nationally recognized experts of more than 60 cardiology and vascular medicine specialists. We offer heart and vascular patients some of the most exciting and innovative technologies, treatments, and clinical trials, many of which are only available at Ohio State. Most of our faculty are principal investigators on various research projects in both the basic, translational, and clinical research settings.
