Work Shift:

8hr-1st Shift (United States of America) Respond to customer inquiries by telephone or e-mail to provide non-technical problem resolution. Resolve routine and basic problems and communicates solution or requested information to the customer. Analyze a customer's service needs and refer to other service or technical departments for follow up as needed. May utilize a customer relationship application or database to record activities and research product information. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to the Customer Service Manager. JOB SUMMARY:

Monitor the blow mold machines to ensure quality of product and its processing
Order entry & maintenance
Shipping verification
Pricing verification
Input customer feedback into the Quality Database & Customer Feedback Database
Assist with customer inventory management
Manage customer owned inventory (labels, corrugate, etc.)
Manage customer specific finished goods
Assist with the management of obsolete inventory
Assist with accounts receivables
Maintenance of manual BOL
Invoicing verification
Sample shipments
Mail marketing information (brochures)
Generate and distribute customer-required reports (inventory, volume, etc.)
Assist with Credit Memos when needed
Maintain customer files

TITLE: Operations Assistant 1st shift

LOCATION: 4239 N. 39th Ave. Phoenix, AZ 85019

HOURS: Monday - Friday from 7 AM-3:30 PM

Qualifications: We're looking for a highly organized and quality-focused individual with excellent communication, time management, interpersonal, and mathematical skills. You should be able to work independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating strong attention to detail.

Required:

  • Two years of customer service experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and database management.
  • Strong computer skills.

Preferred:

  • An Associate's degree.
  • Prior manufacturing experience.
  • Recent experience with JDE or similar inventory management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities: This role involves providing non-technical customer support via phone and email, resolving routine issues, and communicating solutions. You'll analyze customer needs, referring complex issues to other departments as necessary, and utilize customer relationship applications or databases to record activities and research product information. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and this position typically reports to the Customer Service Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Order entry and maintenance.
  • Verifying shipping, pricing, and invoicing.
  • Monitoring blow mold machines for product quality and processing.
  • Inputting customer feedback into Quality and Customer Feedback databases.
  • Assisting with customer inventory management, including customer-owned inventory (labels, corrugate, etc.) and customer-specific finished goods.
  • Supporting the management of obsolete inventory.
  • Assisting with accounts receivables and credit memos.
  • Maintaining manual Bills of Lading (BOLs).
  • Handling sample shipments.
  • Mailing marketing information (brochures).
  • Generating and distributing customer-required reports (inventory, volume, etc.).
  • Maintaining customer files.

EXPERIENCE: Looking for someone who has experience with Blow molding and has basic mathematical skills & computer experience.

EDUCATION: High School diploma or general education degree (GED).

TRAINING: Completion of Altium Production/Machine Operator training within 90 days of hire date.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts in a production environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Temperatures inside the plant can fluctuate between hot and cold according to seasonal changes. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in the production department and other designated areas.
